Job Description
Location & Workplace Model: Vancouver, BC, Canada (Hybrid) 3 days in office. 2 from home.
Compensation and Benefits package: $75,000-$100,000 OTE per annum + Health Insurance, 4 weeks of vacation leave per year

CorePlan is a Perth, Western Australia based tech startup shaking up the mining industry with a modern digital SaaS drilling management platform. We replace paper and spreadsheets with a seamless solution used by customers worldwide. Our mission is to advance digital drilling operations across mining, and our momentum is strong. We are a high-performing team of self-starters building the next generation of mining software, and we are expanding internationally.
We have started to scale globally and looking are looking for an additional team member to join our GTM team based in Vancouver.
About the role
Our pipeline starts with you. As a Sales Development Representative at CorePlan, you will be the first conversation our future customers have with us. You will generate and qualify leads, run smart outbound campaigns, and clearly show prospects how our product solves real problems. It is a role with a direct line to the growth of the business, and plenty of room to learn the craft of modern B2B sales.
You will work closely with our marketing, sales, and customer success teams, and hand over well-qualified opportunities to our Account Executives.
What you will do
Run multichannel outbound campaigns across phone, email, landing pages, and social to build awareness and demand across enterprise and mid-market accounts
Get to know our product and our customers well enough to explain, in plain terms, how we meet their needs
Qualify leads against our ideal customer profile and document each opportunity before handing it to an Account Executive
Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success to shape and sharpen outbound strategy
Keep our CRM clean and current, and report on your activity each week
Set your goals at the start of each quarter and keep them aligned to where the business is heading
What you will bring
Strong communication and people skills, with a knack for building rapport quickly
Experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales, or another customer-facing role
Confidence reaching out to prospects across phone, email, and social
A natural curiosity that helps you pick up new products, tools, and industries fast
An organised, detail-oriented approach and genuine comfort with CRM systems
A proactive, goal-driven mindset and a real team-first attitude
Nice to have
A degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
Familiarity with structured sales qualification frameworks such as SPICED
Knowledge of the mining or resources industry
