About The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Product Delivery Manager to own the end-to-end delivery and release management of our software products. This role is laser-focused on ensuring that releases are executed smoothly, efficiently, and predictably — from planning through deployment and post-release operations.
If you excel at orchestrating complex releases across multiple teams, managing dependencies, and driving operational readiness, this is an opportunity to have a direct impact on how we bring our products to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Release Planning & Execution: Manage the complete release lifecycle — from planning to deployment — ensuring releases are well-coordinated, technically sound, and aligned with delivery timelines.
- Delivery Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for release activities, aligning Engineering, QA, and Operations on scope, timelines, and readiness.
- Schedule & Milestone Management: Maintain release calendars, track progress against key milestones, and proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or blockers.
- Dependency & Risk Management: Identify, track, and mitigate delivery risks and interdependencies to maintain delivery cadence.
- Operational Readiness: Ensure that internal systems, documentation, and support teams are fully prepared for new releases. Coordinate deployment checklists, rollout plans, and release notes.
- Quality Assurance Alignment: Work closely with QA and Engineering teams to validate readiness criteria, testing completion, and deployment validation.
- Change Management: Oversee release approval and communication processes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned before go-live.
- Monitoring & Post-Release Review: Track post-release performance, coordinate incident response if needed, and lead retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Continuously refine delivery and release management practices to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Reporting & Visibility: Provide clear, concise updates and metrics on release progress, delivery velocity, and operational performance to leadership and stakeholders.
Experience You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 3+ years in release management, product delivery, or project management, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
- Execution Focus: Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver releases on time and with high quality.
- Technical Understanding: Strong grasp of modern software development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Agile Knowledge: Experience working within agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and integrating release management into sprint cycles.
- Risk & Dependency Management: Skilled at identifying delivery risks and dependencies, and implementing structured mitigation strategies.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills for coordinating across engineering, QA, and operations teams, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Tools: Proficiency in tools like Product Board, Jira, Confluence, Notion, Zapier, and other project management tools
What Success Looks Like:
- Predictable and on-schedule releases
- Clear visibility into delivery pipelines and milestones
- Strong collaboration across engineering and operations
- Continuous improvement in delivery velocity and post-release quality
