About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to own Tabs’ usage data products, the systems responsible for ingesting, processing, and summarizing usage data that power usage-based billing and reporting.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of product strategy, data infrastructure, and financial systems design. You’ll define the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for how usage data flows through the Tabs platform, ensuring it is accurate, scalable, and reliable as our customers adopt increasingly sophisticated pricing models.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape how finance and RevOps teams understand and trust their usage data, designing products that make complex metering and billing workflows simple, transparent, and automated.
How We Work
We work hard. One-week sprints, weekly ship goals, and short feedback cycles. Built around intra-month product releases.
We work smart. Get in front of the customer, use both data and customer feedback to drive decisions, while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
We work together. In-office culture with people you want to work with. Lots of whiteboard space. Expense coffee, lunch, and dinner when in the office.
What You’ll Do
Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for Tabs’ usage data ingestion and summarization systems.
Partner closely with engineering to design scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant data pipelines that support usage-based billing at scale.
Collaborate with design and cross-functional teams to ensure usage data is intuitive, trustworthy, and easy for customers to reason about.
Define how usage events are collected, validated, transformed, and surfaced across billing, analytics, and reporting workflows.
Balance real-time accuracy, performance, cost, and operational complexity when making product decisions.
Define success metrics, monitor system health and data quality, and iterate based on outcomes and customer feedback.
Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous, technically complex problem spaces.
About You
5+ years of product management experience, ideally in data platforms, fintech, or SaaS environments.
Experience building data products, including ingestion, transformation, and visualization of complex datasets.
Experience working with usage data, metering, or event-driven systems is a strong plus.
Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand how multiple services and data flows interact.
Highly analytical and comfortable using data to inform prioritization and evaluate outcomes.
Excellent communicator who can align and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly.
