Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Payroll is often a hidden dependency in SaaS, especially when teams are distributed across jurisdictions and employment models. This Senior Payroll Analyst remit stands out because it spans multi state US processing alongside Ireland and Singapore, plus oversight of Employer of Record payrolls across multiple European countries. That mix reflects how many SaaS companies operate globally before they have fully built local entities, making payroll accuracy and compliance a core operational control.
For a SaaS career, the role builds durable leverage at the intersection of HR systems, finance, and vendor tooling. Experience reviewing EOR outputs, managing tax notices, and reconciling payroll to the general ledger translates well to other SaaS operators that rely on integrated stacks and audit ready processes. The emphasis on exception handling, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting also develops the analytical habits that support scaling headcount without losing governance.
This position is best suited to an operator who prefers structured cycles, high accountability, and careful stakeholder communication. It fits someone who enjoys becoming a subject matter expert, working across HR, benefits, accounts payable, and external providers, and improving reliability through process discipline rather than constant reinvention.
