Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Event marketing remains a core lever in enterprise SaaS go to market, particularly where buying committees, long sales cycles, and customer communities shape revenue outcomes. This role stands out because it sits at the intersection of brand, demand, and customer marketing, using flagship events and regional user groups as structured programs rather than one off activations. The EMEA remit also signals a need to translate global positioning into market specific execution, a common challenge in multi region SaaS.
From a SaaS career perspective, the scope offers durable experience in building repeatable event frameworks, measurement discipline, and operational rigor across channels and regions. Ownership of tracking and post event reporting aligns with how SaaS teams increasingly evaluate marketing through pipeline influence, adoption, and retention signals. Working in a matrixed model with GTM, communications, and field teams mirrors the cross functional operating system used in many scaled SaaS organizations.
This position is likely to suit a marketing operator who enjoys end to end program ownership, vendor and budget management, and stakeholder alignment across time zones. It also fits someone who prefers measurable outcomes and process improvement over purely creative event work, and who is comfortable balancing strategic planning with on the ground execution when needed.
