Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Netomi operates in the enterprise SaaS layer where AI is embedded directly into customer experience workflows, and that changes what “quality” means day to day. For an SDET II, the surface area extends beyond UI and APIs into conversational behavior, model accuracy, and the reliability of automation at scale, all within products used by large, high-volume brands.
From a SaaS career standpoint, this role builds durable experience in modern quality engineering practices that translate across B2B platforms. The emphasis on CI/CD, automation frameworks, and API testing aligns with how SaaS teams ship continuously, while exposure to AI-based products adds a testing dimension that is becoming increasingly common across the ecosystem. Work like preparing detailed feedback loops to improve models also strengthens cross-functional collaboration skills that matter in product-led environments.
This position suits an engineer who prefers structured validation, measurable outcomes, and ownership of test strategy as systems evolve. It will resonate with someone comfortable switching between manual investigation and automation, and who enjoys turning ambiguous product behavior into repeatable checks. It also fits a mid-level profile ready to influence quality practices across multiple teams rather than operating solely as an individual contributor on isolated features.
