Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This part time Executive and Office Assistant role stands out in SaaS because it sits close to the operating cadence of a post Series B enterprise software company, where internal coordination becomes a real lever for execution. With Craft selling into large enterprises and public sector buyers, day to day work is shaped by external stakeholder schedules, structured meetings, and the practical demands of supporting customer facing leadership.

Experience earned here tends to transfer well across SaaS environments that rely on tight operational hygiene as headcount and complexity increase.
This position is best suited to someone who prefers clear ownership, enjoys switching between planned work and ad hoc requests, and is comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion. It also fits professionals who want proximity to leadership decision making while developing practical operations and coordination skills in an in office, hybrid setup in San Francisco.

Note: This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, and requires three days per week at our headquarters office in Financial District, San Francisco. Candidates must be located in the San Francisco Area.
What You'll Do:

Keep the office stocked and tidy, including managing the fridge, pantry, and general supply inventory
Maintain a clean, welcoming office environment on a daily basis
Set up and break down conference rooms for meetings, events, and presentations
Liaise with building management and vendors as needed
Executive Support
Manage the CEO's calendar, including scheduling internal and external meetings with precision and care
Coordinate logistics for meetings, including preparation materials, agendas, and follow-ups
Handle ad hoc administrative tasks to help the CEO stay focused and effective
Triage and route communications as needed
People Operations

Assist with People Ops projects as they arise, from onboarding logistics to special programs
Help create a great in-office experience for employees and guests
Who You Are:
Highly organized and reliable — you manage competing priorities with ease and nothing falls through the cracks
Proactive — you anticipate needs, spot problems before they grow, and take initiative without waiting to be asked
Discreet and trustworthy — you handle sensitive information with professionalism and care
A clear communicator — you're concise, thoughtful, and responsive whether in person or over Slack
Adaptable — you switch gears easily and bring energy to whatever's in front of you, whether it's a fridge restock or coordinating an offsite
People-oriented — you care about the team experience and take pride in the role you play in building a great workplace
Knowledge of Google suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheet) and an affinity for solving problems with AI
Prior experience in an EA, office management, operations, or administrative support role is a plus, but the right mindset matters most
A Note to Candidates:
We are an equal opportunity employer who values and encourages diversity, equity and belonging at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, caste, or disability status.
Don’t meet every requirement? Studies have shown that women, communities of color and historically underrepresented talent are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Craft, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we strongly encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles!
