Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
This Product Manager role sits at the intersection of SaaS product delivery and privacy infrastructure, covering capabilities that directly affect how AI services can be trusted in production. With scope spanning ChatGPT and the API, the work is tied to high-usage, platform-style surfaces where privacy features become part of the core product contract rather than an add-on. The emphasis on confidential computing, trusted execution environments, and end-to-end encryption signals a focus on foundational primitives that other teams can build on.
From a SaaS career perspective, the role offers durable exposure to security and privacy as product disciplines, including how to translate cryptographic and systems concepts into customer-facing guarantees. It also reflects a common SaaS challenge: coordinating across engineering, security, safety, and legal to ship features that carry technical and policy trade-offs. Experience shaping strategy and sequencing delivery in this domain tends to transfer well to platform PM work across regulated or enterprise-oriented SaaS.
This position is best suited to a technical product manager who prefers deep collaboration with researchers and infrastructure engineers, and who is comfortable operating where requirements are partially defined and risk is a first-class constraint. It will particularly fit someone motivated by privacy-by-design thinking and by building capabilities that scale across multiple products.
