Where you’ll make an impact
As a Marketing Graphic Design Intern at equipifi, you’ll be a go-to creative force behind the visuals that show up everywhere - from social feeds and email campaigns to customer launch kits and branded collateral. You’re design-obsessed in the best way: you care about clean layouts, brand consistency, and getting the details right. Working closely with our Design Lead, you’ll help bring equipifi’s brand (and our customers’ brands) to life while learning how design supports a fast-growing B2B fintech company.
This is a paid, part-time internship (minimum of 8hrs/week, up to 15 hrs/week). Working hours are flexible, but you should be available for communication from 9AM-5PM PST. (In-Office, Arizona Preferred / Remote)
Outcomes You’ll Own
- Reliable, High-Quality Creative Output You’ll own the creation and layout of marketing visuals across email, social, web, and print - supporting everything from weekly campaigns and thought leadership to customer go-live kits. Using existing templates and style guides, you’ll produce clean, on-brand assets, iterate quickly based on feedback from the marketing team, and help ensure customer-facing materials are ready to launch on time and at a high standard.
- Brand Integrity & Asset Readiness You’ll help scale equipifi’s marketing efforts by keeping our brand system (and our customers’) organized, consistent, and launch-ready. This includes interpreting customer brand guides to produce white-labeled collateral, adapting existing assets for customer use, maintaining up-to-date files, and supporting web pages and landing pages in HubSpot. Your work will make it easier for the marketing team to move fast without sacrificing brand quality.
What you bring to equipifi
- A portfolio of graphic design work (coursework, side projects, or internships welcome) that shows strong design fundamentals, a clean eye, and an appreciation for polished, professional design
- Hands-on experience with the Adobe Creative Suite - especially Photoshop and Illustrator (bonus points if they feel like second nature). Familiarity with Premiere or After Effects is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with tools like HubSpot, Canva, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace is a nice-to-have (not a dealbreaker) and you’re generally comfortable picking up new tools as needed.
- Comfort designing across formats and channels, from social and email to presentations, web, and print
- A strong ability to follow brand guidelines and adapt designs for different customer brands without losing consistency
- Openness to feedback and the ability to iterate quickly (you don’t take redlines personally; you make them better)
- Strong attention to detail and organization - you notice spacing, alignment, and when something is just a little off, and you can juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
- A curious, design-obsessed mindset and a genuine interest in learning how marketing design works in the real world
- A positive, collaborative attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever the Marketing team needs support
Your future team
You’ll join equipifi’s small-but-mighty Marketing team. This role reports to Camille Xue, our Design Lead, a thoughtful and talented mentor with a sharp design eye and a highly collaborative working style. You’ll work closely with her through regular feedback and 1:1s, gaining hands-on experience and growing your design skills in a supportive environment.
