Why This Job is Featured on The SaaS Jobs
Taxbit sits in a regulated corner of SaaS where product value is tied to changing external rules, in this case digital-asset tax reporting and accounting. That makes business development less about broad-market messaging and more about translating a compliance-driven platform into concrete operational outcomes for finance and tax stakeholders. The London location also signals a role that can intersect with cross-jurisdiction considerations, a common reality for SaaS vendors selling into global enterprises.
For a SaaS sales career, this kind of domain-heavy BDR role builds durable fundamentals: structured outbound, account research, and multi-threading into complex organizations. It also develops the habit of connecting product capabilities to triggers such as new geographies, new products, or regulatory shifts, a pattern that transfers well across enterprise SaaS categories like fintech, risk, and governance tooling. Close partnership with Account Executives and disciplined CRM usage reinforces the operating cadence expected in modern revenue teams.
This role tends to suit someone who prefers preparation over volume, and who enjoys learning enough industry context to hold credible early conversations. It is a strong match for early-career sellers aiming toward enterprise paths, especially those comfortable engaging tax, finance, and product functions rather than a single buyer persona.
