Overview:
We are looking for a Legal Engineer to empower our customers to successfully adopt and implement Ivo, partnering with them to solve complex workflows, streamline their contract processes, and scale AI across their organizations.
Our legal engineering team sits at the heart of everything we do and it is a truly unique role - they are account executives, product managers, legal advisors, customer success managers, designers and solutions architects all in one. Essentially, without our Legal Engineering team, Ivo would not exist! It’s impossible to list all of the things that you’ll do in this role, but here’s a few of the most important things you’ll be doing:- Being a champion of the product and advocating for Ivo on customer onboarding calls, demos, webinars, events and conferences.
- Acting as a close and trusted advisor to our customers to help them integrate Ivo into their workflows and adopt best-in-class practices for scaling AI in their day-to-day work.
- Lead product demonstrations and training sessions tailored to the context of various law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, asking questions to validate how Ivo can add value and then showcasing Ivo’s features and benefits relevant to each prospective client’s potential use cases.
- Implement (and oversee the implementation of) “Playbooks” for our customers derived from their precedents, templates, and historical agreements.
- Work closely with our engineers to improve the outputs of our models and with our designers to improve our UX / UI.
- Being the “Voice of the Customer,” by sharing customer insights and feedback with the product team to inform and shape product strategy and development. In this role, you will have a direct and significant impact on product decisions and our overall product roadmap.
Ivo might be a good fit for you if you- Have 2+ years of legal experience, either at a law firm or in-house legal team and you want to break into tech and work in a more dynamic, customer facing role.
- Love working with clients and you thrive on helping them find creative and cutting edge ways to solve some of their thorniest challenges.
- Have outstanding presentation skills and are confident presenting to both legal and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
- Have a "do what it takes" attitude. You're willing to dive into problems and solve them yourself — you won't have anyone to delegate to.
- You are excited about the adventure of building a company and want to be part of something early-stage and hyper-dynamic.
- Would describe yourself as being relentlessly resourceful.
- Have a strong internal sense of urgency. You have a bias towards doing things today, rather than tomorrow.
Compensation and benefits- Competitive Compensation: We offer competitive salary and equity packages. The USD salary range for this role is $180k - $210k (excluding equity). Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
